These Terms of Sale govern all purchases of archival prints and editions through artimageparis.com across the United States, Canada, and the European Union. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Custom On-Demand Production
Every artwork offered by Art Image Paris is custom-printed to order upon confirmation of your purchase according to the specific artwork, paper format, and dimensions you select. We do not hold pre-printed mass inventory; each piece is individually produced for the purchasing collector by our fine-art fulfillment partner, Gelato.
2. Order Modifications, Cancellations & EU Right of Withdrawal
- Grace Period (All Regions): Because orders are routed swiftly to regional print facilities, you may modify or cancel your order for a full refund within 2 hours of order placement by emailing info@artimageparis.com. Once the artwork enters active production, cancellations are no longer possible.
- EU & UK Statutory Exception (Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 16(c)): In accordance with Article 16(c) of the European Union Consumer Rights Directive, the standard 14-day right of withdrawal (change-of-mind return) does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or custom-printed on demand after an order is placed.
- US & Canada Final Sale: Except in cases of transit damage or manufacturing defects, custom-produced prints are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged due to buyer’s remorse or incorrect sizing selection.
3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Deliveries (100% Guarantee)
We stand unconditionally behind the museum quality of our prints. Under US federal/state consumer laws, Canadian provincial statutes, and the EU Legal Guarantee of Conformity (minimum 2-year statutory warranty for defective goods), if your order arrives damaged in transit, displays a printing flaw, or does not match your ordered specifications:
- Take clear digital photographs showing both the damaged exterior shipping tube/packaging and the defect on the artwork itself.
- Email the photographs along with your Order Number to info@artimageparis.com within 14 days of delivery.
- Upon verification, we will dispatch a complimentary replacement print immediately at zero cost to you, or issue a full 100% refund to your original payment method. You are not required to pay return shipping for damaged items.
4. Pricing, Currency & Regional Fulfillment
- Currency: All prices are listed and processed in United States Dollars (USD $) unless otherwise displayed at checkout.
- Local Production & Duties: Through our partner network (Gelato), orders shipped to the United States, Canada, and the European Union are produced at regional archival facilities inside the destination market whenever available, minimizing transit emissions and avoiding unexpected cross-border customs duties.
- Shipping Costs: Exact shipping fees and estimated delivery windows are calculated and displayed clearly at checkout prior to payment authorization.
5. Intellectual Property & Copyright
All artworks, images, and texts displayed on artimageparis.com are the exclusive intellectual property of Art Image Paris and its represented artists. The purchase of a physical print grants you ownership of the physical object for personal display only; it does not transfer copyright, commercial reproduction rights, or licensing rights.
