STUDIO PRACTICE • MONTMARTRE & BEYOND

The Tactile Reality of Paint.

Art Image Paris operates as an active bridge between independent European painting ateliers and modern architecture worldwide. Every piece in our collection begins with physical paint on raw canvas under the curatorial direction of Parisian painter Djani.

OUR MANIFESTO

Against the frictionless digital image.

In an era saturated with synthetic, machine-generated decor, contemporary spaces often suffer from visual sterility. Art Image Paris was created as an antidote.

Our collective unites practicing artists working across Paris, Lyon, and Berlin. We explore tension, architectural geometry, earth pigments, and negative space. The works are made slowly, with intuition, hesitation, revision, and human presence.

THE STUDIO PROCESS

From Studio Easel to Collector Wall

01

Raw Material Creation

Each work originates as an original painting on heavy linen or wood panel using acrylics, pure mineral pigment, charcoal, and impasto mediums.

02

Cross-Polarized Capture

Once cured, the canvas is captured using high-resolution medium format studio sensors and cross-polarized strobe illumination to eliminate surface glare while preserving micro-texture.

03

Domestic Archival Press

Orders are routed dynamically to specialized fine art labs in the United States and Canada, printed on 200+ GSM museum-grade matte stock with 100+ year lightfast inks.

CURATORIAL NOTE

“A painting on a wall should not blend into the noise of modern life. It should anchor a room, ground the eye, and carry the weight of human intention.”

— Djani, Head Curator & Artist
